Chef Omar Mediouni presents Pittsburgh’s only authentic Spanish Tapas and Wine Bar, nestled in Shadyside with a gorgeous outdoor patio – a perfect atmosphere for graduations, birthdays or any celebration. The menu features mouth-watering entrée’s with Chef Omar’s fresh fish of the day, with selection of more than 50 tapas, Spain’s greatest food invention. “Eat when you drink, drink when you eat” is the philosophy. Tapas are not meant to be a meal, one tapas per person and a different one with each drink is the idea, then everyone enjoys tasting and sharing. Tapas food is great local ingredients presented with flair by new Chef de Cuisine Larry Laffont, the former chef at Ibiza. La Casa has Sangrias (white and red) and Spanish wines, plus Mojitos, and a full bar of special drinks. La Casa opens 7 days a week for dinner at 4:30, and Fridays-Saturday for lunch at Noon.
